In Cartooning – Capable of drawing cartoons telling stories or voicing opinions
with satirical or whimsical pictures and words. Cartoons that can be animated by computers
or by movie film productions equipment. Cartoon strips that are printed in newspapers,
magazines, and books.

Have an ample understanding of different advertising media (including
photography & videography) that are very useful in producing effective visual output.

Can work with the following computer applications – Operating Systems
environment such as Microsoft Windows XP, and Mac OS G5. Can do layouts, vector graphics,
and digital paintings by using graphics software such as, Corel Draw 12, Corel Painter ix,
Adobe Photoshop cs2, Macromedia Freehand 9&10, Macromedia Flash MX, Adobe Illustrator cs2,
Aware of MS Word, and other MS Office applications. Has essential knowledge in pre-press.
Acquainted with various Internet technologies such as WWW and Email using tools such as
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Specialized Skills:
In Traditional Painting – Competent in creating artworks on the process
and technique of applying pigment (a dry powder mixed with a binding agent) to a surface.
Adept with various pigments such as oil paint, tempera, gouache or opaque, latex,
watercolor, enamel and acrylic paint that can be applied in a single layer or built-up in
multiple layers of color. Familiar with mixed media techniques. Clever with a variety of
media surfaces such as paper, canvas, wood or plaster that are used to paint on.
